The Road to Power: Rising Through the Ranks from the Police Force

To capture Judge, a deranged serial killer, Zhang Zhenhua jumped into the sea after him. To his astonishment, he was reborn on July 26, 2002.

That was the day he went on his first call.

In his previous life, his cowardice kept him from standing up to the gangsters. As a result, an innocent young woman was assaulted and took her own life.

His mentor blamed himself deeply for what happened and later died in the line of duty.

Given another chance, Zhang would never let that tragedy happen again.

Nor would he let Judge roam free for another twenty years and kill forty-nine people.

Drawing on his memories and experience from his previous life, Zhang solves major cases one after another, but earns the enmity of both the underworld and its powerful protectors.

He has no choice but to investigate cases while fighting those who shield the criminals.

At the same time, to make money and provide for his family, he takes the name Zhang Yanchen and becomes the country's most mysterious singer.

But before he can uncover Judge's identity, the first victim in the Judge case is unexpectedly murdered.

His rebirth has changed the world!

The gears of fate begin to turn, and step by step he rises toward the pinnacle of his life.
