The Journey Home from All Directions

In 845 AD, Emperor Wuzong of the Tang Dynasty destroyed Buddhism. An unnamed Tantric master foresaw the catastrophe a thousand years later and scattered ten magical artifacts (bronze figures, bronze mirrors, shells, shadow puppet boxes, evil pits, etc.) All over the place, each of which sealed a type of soul. The master left a prophecy: "Thousands of years later, the East will be robbed. Ten people each hold a weapon, and each loses something. When ten people gather, all souls will return."
