Lin Mo transmigrates into Journey to the West and becomes Tiger Vanguard, a minor demon with a bit of a reputation.
He despairs at the prospect of going to fight the Monkey King, a mission certain to get him killed.
Just then, the Qi Luck Plundering System awakens.
As long as he intercepts a Pilgrim, he can plunder their qi luck and earn rewards.
Plunder a trace of qi luck and merit, and receive a Bloodline Upgrade Card.
Plunder a great deal of qi luck and merit, and receive the divine ability Samadhi Divine Wind.
Plunder an excessive amount of qi luck and merit, and receive an Instant Level-Up Card.
…
Many years later, in the Western Paradise, the Buddha asks:
“Guanyin, have Tang Monk and his disciples completed their merits?”
Guanyin looks troubled. “Well, they’ve completed them a little too thoroughly.”
The Buddha: “???”
