Back to the Ming Dynasty as the Chongzhen Emperor

I transmigrated into the Chongzhen Emperor’s body, and things were dire from the start. In nine days, I would hang myself at Coal Hill, while Li Zicheng’s million-strong army closed in. The court was rotten, the treasury empty, and the empire on the verge of collapse. In this life, I, the Chongzhen Emperor, will wield modern wisdom and imperial authority. I’ll confiscate corrupt officials’ wealth, train a new army, upgrade firearms, and promote industry and commerce. The Manchus invade from the south? The Rebel King declares himself emperor? That depends on whether I allow it!
