Snow Drifting Over the Oilfield

In 1999, an explosion at the Third Oil Factory in a small city in Northeast China took the life of Lin Lu'an's father, the factory's safety officer. With his dying breath, he gave his life to protect the entire factory, writing a new chapter in the spirit of petroleum safety with his sacrifice. Of course, Lin Lu'an wants to follow in her father's footsteps. She dreams of becoming an investigative reporter, going to the front lines and, like her father, protecting her ideals and the security of the nation's resources with her life. But things don't go as she hopes. After graduating, Lin Lu'an heads north to Beijing and takes a job in operations, a world apart from her ideals. By a twist of fate, she returns to her hometown's petroleum TV station, where she investigates major and minor incidents threatening oilfield safety. She uncovers the truth behind her father's death and exposes the hidden hand behind the dangers to the factory's oil safety. The snow falling over the oilfield finally gives way to the clearing of her father's name, while Lin Lu'an's new short-form travel drama becomes a powerful tool for spreading petroleum culture.
