I once thought that "traveling" to the Tang Dynasty and meeting "her" was an opportunity given by God to make up for the regrets of my youth.
I risked everything for her, but my dream was shattered on the eve of her wedding, and I was forced to go far away.
When I woke up, the person standing guard by my hospital bed was the same girl from back then. Misunderstandings are resolved and ambiguity is reborn.
Until we opened each other's genealogy: her talented aunt who resisted the marriage contract, and my ancestor who lived in a "foreign land" and never married, their names quietly met in the poems written thousands of years ago...
It turns out that the most affectionate destiny is not to love you through time and space, but the memory of looking for you has been engraved in my genes.
After thousands of years, the two unfinished regrets have finally come together slowly in the palms of our hands.
This chapter is a test of readers' classical Chinese writing skills, but I personally think that most classical Chinese dialogues can be understood. Even if you can't understand it, you should be able to understand it based on the context. Even if I don't understand the context, it shouldn't affect me just skipping this conversation, because after every classical Chinese conversation, I basically summarize it a little bit. The charm of this chapter is there, and I have to use classical Chinese. There will be more dialogue in the vernacular in the next few pictures.
