In Fuzhou City, the fragrance of jasmine fills the three lanes and seven alleys, and the charm of tea smoke and ink permeates the Taijiang arcade. Lin Hui, an ancient house restorer, and Liu Cheng, a construction engineer, became connected because of the endangered Ouyang House. From the poems and songs they first met in the Chunlun Teahouse, to the tense disputes at the shipyard, to the oaths interlocked with silver bracelets in front of the hospital bed, love blossomed in "protection" and "understanding", and finally became the "Banyan City Heart to Heart" in the "Two Hongshu" wedding book.
This is a story about "roots". The "Jasmine Covenant" of three generations of the Liu family is hidden among the secret recipe boxes in the flower fields of Nanyu Town, the silver hairpins annotated in medical books, and the embroidered patterns on grandma's cheongsam; the "Double Hongshun" silver bracelet and the old "Rongcheng Connected Heart" bracelet on Lin Hui's wrist collided with each other and created an emotional resonance that spans a century. From the Anti-Japanese War free clinic to the Paris negotiations, the "fragrant fragrance and clearness" of jasmine have always been the family's password for "keeping one's heart".
Intangible cultural heritage and the times play together here: the tea painting "Double Hongshun", the proof of "Jasmine Translation" made with jasmine tea, and the ancient method of "seven pickles and seven suns" wrapped in candied olives. The restoration of ancient houses is intertwined with the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine. In the daily life of daily necessities, the warmth of "you are making trouble, he is laughing" is hidden, which confirms the true meaning of "connecting hearts" that "roots are connected to roots, and fragrance spreads thousands of miles away".
——Using Fuzhou as the scroll and Jasmine as the pen, I write about the fireworks and character of a city and the separation and persistence of a family, dedicated to all those who guard their hearts and families.
