The Heir Apparent Is Hard to Resist, Even for a Taoist Priest

The young lord takes up the path of cultivation to stay alive, but for a long time he cannot fully purge the poison from his body.

One night, while the poison flares up, a female thief breaks in. After evading pursuit, she casually helps him purge the poison and saves his life, though the process is somewhat humiliating.

He swears to find the thief and teach her a good lesson. Unexpectedly, when they meet again while he accompanies his master to inspect the feng shui and dispel evil spirits at a family's home, the thief has no memory of him at all.

But from then on, the seemingly kind and innocent thief won't leave him alone. She is always giving him trouble. Even when he ignores her, she can talk to herself for ages, saying things that either infuriate him or flirt with him!

He runs, she chases. She doesn't seem malicious, and he can't bring himself to poison her and silence her.

A few months later, the thief suddenly disappears. When he goes looking for her, the place is empty, as if she had never been there at all and it had all been his imagination.

He grits his teeth in frustration. After investigating, he discovers that the thief has gone back to the capital to get married!

Further investigation brings another surprise: the thief has returned to the capital and is wreaking havoc!

The thief, Song Anning: "If I told you I was forced into it, would you believe me? I wanted to see the capital's splendor too!"

The young lord and Daoist bares his teeth. "Had a good look? Now that you're here, don't even think about running again!"
