A Wild Girl Arrives at the Compound, and the Heirless Young Master Falls Hard for Her

[The heroine plays the pig to eat the tiger; a battle of suitors; mercilessly trouncing the weak] Gu Wan is the troublemaker everyone in the compound despises in the 1980s. She insults the wife of a superior officer, getting her father sidelined at work. She spends recklessly, leaving her older brother, who earned a place at a prestigious university, unable to afford his medicine and confined to bed. Foolish and lecherous, she throws herself at Fu Yansheng, her father’s cold-faced superior, causes a colossal scandal, and gets caught red-handed. Then Gu Wan, a modern doctoral graduate in traditional Chinese medicine, takes over her body. She works hard to clear her name and make something of herself, gradually cleaning up the mess left by the original owner. Armed with the knowledge of Chinese medicine from her previous life, she fearlessly enters the medical world. To the three men in the Gu family, who have suffered so much because of her, she says: She throws herself into helping her dejected father, supporting him as he rises step by step. She cures her frail older brother and helps him build a business empire. She saves her broken second brother and helps him fulfill his extraordinary artistic dreams. When the wild girl once again faces a barrage of slander and misunderstanding: The general’s daughter: “Gu Wan is my best friend.” The officer’s wife: “Gu Wan is the best child I’ve ever met.” Her principal’s mother-in-law: “Gu Wan is the only daughter-in-law I’ll accept.” Fu Yansheng, the young master of the capital who once found her utterly repulsive after she knocked him down: “Come cuddle, wife.” At last, the wild girl everyone once despised becomes the most doted-on darling, envied by all.
