After retiring from the underworld, big boss Liu Qiang joins a dating reality show, hoping to find a girlfriend to spend the rest of his life with.
But when the female contestants see that their male guest is Liu Qiang, they’re completely stunned. “My date is an underworld boss?”
When the production crew traps a female contestant in an escape room, Liu Qiang grabs a prop knife and chops his way in.
Liu Qiang: “You little punk, you dare tie up my woman? I’ll chop you to pieces in no time!”
And when a vendor uses a rigged scale to cheat him while selling him a watermelon, Liu Qiang splits the melon open with one slash!
“Is this melon ripe or not?”
When the show has its contestants design their own romantic hideaways, Liu Qiang simply takes over Hua Hua’s little house.
“Hua, this little house is mine now. You’re working for me from now on!”
The contestants are all dumbstruck, and the women are trembling with fear.
But as the show goes on, the female contestants realize the boss isn’t anything like he first appeared.
When she gets trapped in a haunted house, Liu Qiang, who’s always been afraid of ghosts, rushes in without hesitation to save her.
He uses the money he earns selling things to prepare surprises for her.
And when he talks about the underling who took a knife for him, his face is full of regret.
As the show continues, the female contestant falls harder and harder for him.
Yang Xuejian: “Forgive me for judging you so shallowly before. I’ve really fallen for you.”
