Ye Xuan transmigrates and, from the start, binds himself to a “Merit Makes a Saint” System. His beginner’s gift turns out to be the Heavenly Eye, a skill for appraising treasures!
He plans to make a living appraising treasures on livestream and earn a little merit to exchange for supplies, but during a call-in session, he immediately sees the secret behind a haunted house: the pure Yang sword and tomb-sealing coins under the mattress are there to suppress a female corpse inside the wall?!
His warning, “Run!” saves someone’s life, but he gets banned and is mocked across the internet as a “fraudulent mystic.”
Ye Xuan: “That’s not fair! I really am a proper treasure appraiser, with a bit of feng shui and fortune-telling on the side!”
The System upgrades, and he unlocks mastery of fortune-telling! He goes live again, ready to prove the doubters wrong:
A debunking streamer shows up to challenge him? His fortune-telling reveals the man’s orphaned past and childhood memories, and they recognize each other as family on the spot!
A father desperate to find his beloved daughter asks for help? By reading his face and heart, Ye Xuan uncovers the heartbreaking truth behind the missing-person case...
Other streamers appraise treasures to earn commissions. He saves lives on camera and earns merit!
From an “internet-wide laughingstock” dismissed as a fraudulent mystic to a master of the arcane who never misses a prediction and solves one strange case after another, Ye Xuan’s livestream becomes the most popular and bizarre “paranormal crime scene” on the internet.
When his merit is complete and the day comes for him to become a saint, viewers cry out, “We spoke too soon. This streamer really does have the goods!”
