Li Wangsheng is forced to take over a pawnshop that deals in life and death.
Here, customers pawn their desires in exchange for power and wealth, and a chance to defy fate and change their lives. The price is seven days of pursuit by vengeful ghosts. Survive, and your wish comes true. Fail, and he collects your corpse!
And the owner has it even worse: his predecessor packed up and ran, leaving him with a ledger from the underworld and a deadly rule. Miss the monthly quota, and the haunted pawnshop kills its owner first!
So he catches up on sleep in class by day and goes out with a lantern to collect corpses by night.
His greatest wish is to survive until next month and nail the old bastard who ran away inside a coffin.
Welcome to the Desire Gamble. Pawn your wish and wager your seven days. Owner Li Wangsheng offers professional appraisals. After-sales service covers corpse collection only.
