From the start, Su Jinxiu was already exhausted in body and mind from her mother-in-law's schemes when bizarre on-screen comments suddenly appeared before her:
"A cannon-fodder supporting female character! She gives birth to the legitimate eldest granddaughter, but the baby is switched for her brother-in-law's illegitimate daughter?!"
She was actually the "blood bag" cannon fodder in *The Pampered Beauty of Great Jing*.
In the future, her rewards would be stolen, her dowry drained, her daughter switched, and she herself would die in childbirth?
"Lady Xiao, her mother-in-law, will use 'calming soup' as an excuse to test her!"
"Watch the incense burner! That's the real deadly trap, aimed straight at the baby in her belly!"
"She's about to give birth prematurely! The midwife Wang has been bribed. The baby could be switched at any moment!"
From then on, armed with the "script" and able to foresee the future, she planned every step carefully and exposed every schemer.
Her mother-in-law schemed against her? Ding! "That wicked old woman is up to another nasty trick!" She easily thwarted it.
Her brother-in-law caused trouble? Ding! "That guy's gotten some woman pregnant again!" She planned ahead and made him suffer the consequences.
As she lay weak in childbirth and her mother-in-law moved to carry out her evil baby-switching plot, ding! "He's here, he's here! He's coming with his mighty wife-protecting aura!"
General Xiao Chengyu, Defender of the North: "Who dares lay a hand on my wife and daughter!"
With the on-screen comments in hand, she turned the tables: the cannon-fodder became the heroine, and the blood bag became the family's darling!
