Bai Letian, an F-rank ability user on the verge of starving to death, binds to the 【Apocalypse Wasteland Chef Self-Rescue System】. From the start, he's forced to deep-fry radiation cockroach legs while the system broadcasts to every channel, “Protein: crispy and crunchy!” If he refuses, he'll get a one-way trip to the middle of a level-three zombie horde!
To stay alive, he grits his teeth and puts mutated creatures on the menu. When that unbelievable meaty aroma hits, survivors go from asking, “Whose lunatic is this?” to frantically shouting, “Where's the streamer? I'll trade expired luncheon meat for a bite!”
From then on, E-rank “Corrupted Multi-Headed Hounds” become braised offal, while D-rank “Venomous Mushroom Men” turn into nourishing mushroom soup.
Base leader: “Brother Bai, I have a giant mutated earthworm. It's plenty to eat. How about coming on as our ingredient-processing consultant?”
Lone powerhouse: “I just killed a radiation wild boar king. Which parts do you want, heart, liver, spleen, lungs, or kidneys?”
With a spatula in one hand and the System in the other, Bai Letian stir-fries his way through the wasteland, turning the mutated monsters everyone avoids into hope for the continuation of human civilization (and rations).
