Overnight, top-tier singer Shen Yan transmigrates into the body of the internet's most despised "plagiarist." The original owner was drugged and had his voice ruined as part of a scheme by the powerful. All his painstakingly created songs were stolen, and he was branded a plagiarist and kept under wraps until he died. As he grips his diagnosis of terminal cancer, the System suddenly appears: "Win face-slapping showdowns with your singing, and you can extend your life and be reborn!"
His first battleground is none other than the arena of his nemesis's ex-girlfriend. The hugely popular diva Liu Ruyan invites him to fill in for someone, only for him to run into the green-tea first love who plagiarized his hit song at the audition. Under the spotlights, a plagiarist judge's malicious questions and the audience's jeers rain down like arrows. But Xu Mo presses the first note of "The Wind Rises" on the stage lift.
"We walked and stopped along the way, following the traces of a drifting youth..." The moment his unaccompanied singing fills the livestream, one trending topic after another explodes. The truth buried by powerful interests trembles with every note. The actress who has secretly loved him for ten years quietly tears up, while the heir to the conglomerate, sitting in the VIP section with a livid face, crushes an invitation into a twisted scrap.
From being cursed by millions to delivering god-tier performances, from a prisoner of terminal illness to a legend of the music world. This time, he'll make everyone who stole his starlight stand exposed beneath the spotlights.
