[Commentary Banners] [Lighthearted Comedy] [Subverting Tropes] [Love Grows Over Time] [Self-Preserving Heroine] [Sweet on the Outside, Dark on the Inside Hero]
Yun Zi discovers someone trying to switch the bride in front of her young lady's bridal chamber!
Just as Yun Zi is about to step in, she sees a heavenly book and learns that this act would put the story back on track, after which her young lady would kill her.
Yun Zi immediately backs off and keeps her head down to save her own skin!
Who knew that keeping her head down would land her in the bedchamber of the third young master, the elegant and refined Jiang family's pride and joy?
But when the male and female leads fall in love, she'll be sold off?
This place is no longer safe. Yun Zi uses the commentary banners to make her fortune!
But just as she's planning to fake her death and run, the heavenly book says the third young master has fallen for her?
How is that possible? The heavenly book also says the male lead belongs to the beloved daughter of Si Si!
The heavenly book says the third young master is a pervert?
And he's prepared a set of solid gold chains for her hands and feet, along with a dark prison cell??
Thinking of the third young master's noble character and the misunderstanding that made him out to be a demon, Yun Zi falls into deep thought...
Male lead's perspective: On his wedding night, he inexplicably finds a bedchamber maid, and she's a brazen little servant girl who dares to put her hands on him!
Jiang Boxuan holds a grudge. Jiang Boxuan gets revenge. Who knew this little servant girl would suddenly...!
Jiang Boxuan gets what he deserves, then turns around and keeps writing in his little book of grudges!
But Jiang Boxuan can't make heads or tails of it.
Other people have one face in public and another in private. How does this little servant girl have two different faces every time she turns around?
(PS: The heroine believes it's better for someone else to die than herself.
The male lead is a noble gentleman, a distant flower on a high peak, gentle, refined, harmless to humans and animals...
It's all fake, fake, fake~
He's putting on an act!
His true nature: petty and vindictive, possessive and obsessive, and absolutely awful~)
Come on in and see for yourself~
How to put it? The heroine is a mainstream person pursuing a career. The male protagonist actually plays an icing on the cake here. But the interaction between the male and female protagonists is still interesting, except for a few times when they really don't talk much. Also, it's too short, and the plot basically doesn't extend much, but it's enough. It can still be read as a sweet novel.
It's okay, but the whole plot is a bit too short.
How can I still believe that the original heroine is good even though the heroine already has a book from heaven?
