Blood-Robed Marquis of Great Qin: Slay Enemies to Seize Immortality

Zhao Cheng transmigrated to the end of the Warring States period and became a young man in a border commandery of Qin, earning his living by farming. By chance, he obtained a Life-for-Life System: killing a living being let him take its lifespan, and he could use that lifespan to cultivate and devise martial arts techniques.

So he resolutely enlisted and marched east with the army, killing enemies to seize their years of life, feeding his blade with his own lifespan!

He poured endless years of life into all manner of martial arts, forging a killing god's path of cultivation.

From then on, he held the pass alone, a match for ten thousand! He campaigned in every direction, unstoppable!

The six kingdoms trembled at his approach. He was a blood-soaked Yama, a terror even to ghosts. He fought his way to the highest rank in the twenty-rank military merit system, and the First Emperor personally bestowed upon him the title of Marquis of the Blood Robe!

But on the very day they met, the First Emperor suddenly discovered that the Marquis of the Blood Robe was his own son!

Fusu was antiquated, and Huhai was incompetent, so he began quietly assessing Zhao Cheng...

Yet the ministers in court, relying on the First Emperor's refusal to execute officials, brazenly berated him. "Your Majesty conquered the six kingdoms, spilled a million lives, committed countless atrocities, ruled through harsh punishments, burned books and buried scholars alive, built the Great Wall, constructed your mausoleum, and raised Epang Palace. These are the deeds of a tyrant and a fool, and they will stink for a thousand years!"

The First Emperor: "..."

Zhao Cheng leapt up, drew his blade, and slaughtered them, splattering blood across the great hall. "I conquered the six kingdoms! I committed those atrocities! I buried the scholars alive! If His Majesty is a tyrant, then what does that make me?!"

The ministers fled in terror. "Heavens above! The Marquis of the Blood Robe is killing people in the palace! Your Majesty, punish him!"

Zhao Cheng: "I am a Marquis of the First Rank! I beg Your Majesty to strip me of my title. In a few days, I'll kill my way back up again!"

"My military merits are endless. How many lives do you think each of you has for me to take?"

The ministers and officials stood speechless, stammering.

The First Emperor was delighted. "Excellent!"
