An Ancient Painting Connects Past and Present: I Become the Empress's Beloved White Moonlight

Lin Dong discovers an ancient painting and a paintbrush among his family's heirlooms.

The astonishing thing is that, through the ancient painting, Lin Dong can see a world from over a thousand years ago.

There, years of drought have left the land barren, with not a blade of grass growing. The people have no harvest at all and are suffering terribly;

he watches as the empress offers sacrifices and prays to the gods, begging them to send rain from the heavens.

So Lin Dong paints patches of dark clouds on the ancient painting...

In the blink of an eye, clouds blanket the sky, and a torrential rain pours down;

the pictures Lin Dong paints on the ancient painting actually become reality.

To save the people, Lin Dong uses his paintbrush to send them large quantities of grain and other food.

In gratitude to the gods, the empress offers up piles of money, jade tripods, and other treasures. All of them fly out of the ancient painting.

When tens of thousands of Xiongnu attack, Lin Dong uses his paintbrush to send over a large supply of weapons and equipment. As the empress struggles to hold out against the well-equipped Xiongnu, Lin Dong erases the tents where they live and the siege engines they use to attack the city…

In time, Lin Dong gradually becomes a god in the eyes of tens of thousands of people in Beijiang...
