The Frail Chief Minister and His Fierce, Beloved Third Wife

Su Wanwan is cursed to bring misfortune to her husbands, and has already outlived two of them.

For the third time, she's married off to Pei Changfeng, who is barely clinging to life, in the hope that the wedding will bring him good fortune.

But the wedding is just a pretense. The real plan is to use her as a weapon to kill him.

Faced with the only husband she's managed to keep alive, Su Wanwan declares, "I'll beat up anyone who tries to hurt my husband!"

If one comes, she'll beat one up. If two come, she'll beat both!

Betrayed by his own family, Pei Changfeng was left half-dead.

He thought revenge would forever be beyond his reach, but when he slowly woke, an unfamiliar woman was at his bedside, calling him husband with tender concern.

The woman is fiery, willful, and sometimes unreasonable, yet she's utterly devoted to him and determined to spend her whole life by his side.

Later, when he rises to become Grand Secretary, someone suggests that his wife is too hot-tempered and offers him a few gentle, obedient concubines.

That very night, Su Wanwan comes to find him and gives him a thorough beating.

Pei Changfeng, standing up for his wife, says this is proof of how much she loves him.
