A hundred years ago, Li Qingyun wandered into the Demon Abyss. When he finally returned, his cultivation had been completely destroyed. After absorbing the Abyssal Demon Tower within the Demon Abyss, he became the Demon Venerable, a figure who was neither wholly righteous nor wholly evil.
The Abyssal Demon Tower put him through trials across the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, refining countless demons and souls. With the tower, Li Qingyun rebuilt his foundation, entered the Sword Dao, commanded the demon race, suppressed evil demons, and forged an unparalleled Dao body.
Once every three hundred years, the sword masters gather to debate the Dao. Li Qingyun seized the title of Sword Dao Champion, earned the blessing of Heaven, and purged the demonic aura from his body. The Abyssal Demon Tower transformed into an unparalleled Dao weapon.
Li Qingyun entered the mortal world, broke through formations, suppressed the Demon Abyss, and slew formidable foes from beyond the realm. Step by step, he forged an unmatched status, becoming an Emperor who ruled supreme throughout the ages, revered as the Demonic Emperor of the Righteous Path.
