[Reverse mind-reading + groveling pursuit of the younger sister + real and fake heiresses + a woman’s growth]
When Shen Mingzhu unexpectedly found herself in the world of a book as the fake heiress, she was repeatedly framed by the “real heiress” (the fake heroine), Shen Yuan.
Her eldest brother, Shen Zejing, prided himself on being fair and impartial, yet he could take Shen Yuan’s side and blame Shen Mingzhu without even knowing what had really happened.
Her second brother, Shen Zeqing, was a die-hard fan of his eldest brother and followed his example in everything. He even stood up to the eldest brother he had recently come to adore in order to protect the real heiress, Shen Yuan.
Her third brother, Shen Zeshou, was the worst of all: he was unquestionably Shen Yuan’s number-one simp!
After reading the script, Shen Mingzhu fell silent. “Fine, so that’s how you want to play it! Do you think I’m some pushover? No, I’m a shameless troublemaker! If Shen Yuan won’t let me live in peace, then she can forget about living comfortably either!”
But Shen Mingzhu hadn’t started out looking to cause trouble. She had wanted to get along with the Shen family, but every time she gave in, they only pushed their luck further.
When she finds herself in a situation where someone needs saving, will the male lead be the one to rescue her? No. Shen Mingzhu has never sat around waiting for someone to save her. Even when her own strength is limited, she will fight back with everything she has. That doesn’t mean she never needs anyone’s help, though. A towering tree’s growth depends on many outside factors as well as its own perseverance. On this journey, opportunity and hard work are both indispensable.
(A friendly reminder: the romance between the male and female leads develops extremely slowly. This relationship is not the entirety of Shen Mingzhu’s life. She herself is the most vivid part of it.)
