From Son-in-Law to the Empress's Favorite Minister

After transmigrating into a parallel world, all I wanted was to be a lowly live-in son-in-law. I planned to drink tea, fish, flirt, and watch the opera, and enjoy a life of doing as little as possible, but... “Husband, help me!” “Dear son-in-law, help me!” “Young master, help me!” “My loyal subject, help me!” Well, it seems I won’t be getting any free time. I’ll have to protect this world myself. So Zhou Yuan investigates major cases, reforms the bureaucracy, puts down rebellions, opens up sea routes and expands the borders... He turns the tide when all seems lost and saves the empire from collapse! Empress: “My loyal subject, what should we name our prince...?” Zhou Yuan: “Your Majesty, don’t say things like that. I haven’t done anything.”
