On My Wedding Day, the Fake Heiress Came Back from the Dead to Steal My Groom

[Angst first, then satisfaction + the whole cast gets their comeuppance] Three years ago, Su Mingyue, one of the capital’s two most celebrated beauties, disappeared on the frontier. General Su ordered a thorough investigation, only to discover that the missing Su Mingyue was actually the fake heiress! The real heiress, Lin Zhenzhu, was found and became Su Yu of the Su family. The “Yu” in Su Yu meant “surplus,” as in unwanted. Her mother often told her she was unfit for high society and brought shame on the general’s household. Her younger brother resented her for coming back and taking the fake heiress’s place. Her third brother was full of schemes against her and even forced her to drink a bowl of medicine that would make her mute. Her eldest and second brothers treated her like merchandise, trampling on and humiliating her as they pleased. Lin Zhenzhu, whom her adoptive parents had cherished like a treasure, became a plaything the Su family could do with as they pleased. Three years later, she married the fake heiress’s fiancé as her parents had demanded. But on the very day of the wedding, the fake heiress came back from the dead. From then on, there was even less room for Su Yu in the general’s household.
