Ye Chen, an ordinary college student, originally wanted to earn a living by relying on the Feng Shui skills passed down from his ancestors, and maintain an ordinary and embarrassing life. During an accidental survey mission, he accidentally activated the Qimen Dunjia's most precious treasure, the Qimen Tianpan, and was involved in a Feng Shui world full of unknowns and dangers.
In this world, Feng Shui is no longer just a metaphysics, but a supreme secret that affects destiny and rewrites the pattern of heaven and earth. The planners control the universe, the descendants of the Qi Sect deduce the secrets of heaven, and the truly strong ones can change destiny and determine the universe on their own!
In order to protect himself, Ye Chen used Qimen Tianpan as a guide to embark on a journey to break the destiny and change his fate against the will of heaven. From the Feng Shui battles between urban wealthy families to the battles over Feng Shui secret treasures among hidden sects, he has saved danger time and time again through clever layouts and battles of wits and courage. However, he discovered that no matter how far he went, he could not escape the mysterious power that secretly controlled everything.
As Qimen Tianpan gradually awakens, Ye Chen discovers that he is not only a chess piece in the game, but also the chess player who controls the fate of the game. Faced with the fickleness of fate, the machinations and the siege of powerful enemies, he let out a low smile:
"Destiny cannot be violated? Destiny is just a man-made situation!"
