Ma Dong is a retired detective due to injury. He was injured in an operation five years ago and lost part of his memory. The suspicion of his colleagues and comrades made him painful, but he could not explain it. He chose to leave the city. Five years later, by chance, he accepted the invitation of a girl he had helped and returned to the city. They opened a detective agency together and faced complicated cases together. While pursuing various truths, he also worked hard to find out the inside story of that year.
This book takes the protagonist's early experiences as the main line, which runs throughout the play. Each story can be a separate story or organically connected through the main line. Including the disappearance of the financial director, the explosion of the advertising company, Far Cry, Prisoners of the Beast, and the final madness, there are more than a dozen series of stories. The story is wonderful and fascinating.
