Reborn in the 1950s: A Female Soldier on the Snowy Plateau

Life is full of hardships. If you're willing to suffer, you'll never run out of hardship to endure.

If you could live your life over again, would you still choose to suffer?

Feng Sulian has lived two lifetimes. Her previous life was bitter, and this one is bitter too, though in different ways.

In her previous life, the Wang family bought her as a bride. After she served her parents-in-law and cared for them until their deaths, they drove her out, and her husband, whom she had never even met, divorced her.

She was then married off to a lazy man who drank and beat her. Her eldest son mysteriously drowned when he was six or seven, and her second and third sons were intellectually disabled.

Even at ninety, she worked in the fields to support her two disabled sons.

After breaking her leg in a fall, she could no longer manage. In despair, she drank rat poison, taking her two sons with her and ending a lifetime of suffering.

Reborn in the 1950s, she still did not marry the man who was supposedly her husband. This time, she lived a remarkable life on her own terms.

But this life was still full of hardship.

She joined the army and went to the snowy plateau, a bitterly cold place with thin air and treacherous roads.

As some of the earliest soldiers sent to the snowy plateau, they were builders as well as its guardians, quietly defending the nation's borders.

This life was harder than the last, but Feng Sulian bore it gladly...
