A medical doctor transmigrates into another world, only to find herself married to Xiao Jingchen, the blind, lame, sinister, and brutal Prince of Wei.
They say all three of Prince Wei's previous fiancées died on the night before their weddings.
Everyone says Zhou Nian won't escape that fate either.
But not only does she survive, Prince Wei even brings her to the palace's New Year's Eve banquet in a grand display, pampering her like a precious treasure.
Until one day, Zhou Nian discovers her husband's secret...
Zhou Nian is furious. “Blind and lame?”
Xiao Jingchen: “...”
Zhou Nian sneers. “Powerless and brutal?”
Xiao Jingchen: “...”
Seeing Zhou Nian about to blow up, Xiao Jingchen puts on a smile and explains, “My princess, it's all a misunderstanding. I...”
“Bam!”
Xiao Jingchen is shut outside.
The passing steward laughs at him. “The prince got told off by the princess again?”
