Lin Yining, the heiress of the Lin family, is framed and branded an impostor overnight. The biological daughter takes everything that was rightfully hers. Her once-beloved fiancé hates her, her parents despise her, and everyone turns their backs on her, driving her to jump into the sea.
At the wedding of her ex-fiancé and the biological daughter, Lin Yining comes back from the dead. She then takes the place of the Jiang family's daughter and marries her ex-fiancé's sworn enemy, becoming the secret, pampered wife of business tycoon Shen Huaizhi. She vows to reclaim everything that belongs to her.
Her ex-fiancé keeps closing in on her. “You're my fiancée. Don't even think about marrying anyone else!”
Shen Huaizhi fiercely defends his wife. “When has my wife ever needed your permission to get married?”
She thought their marriage was just a transaction, with each getting what they wanted. But when she presents him with divorce papers, hoping to give him back the woman he loves, Shen Huaizhi is furious. He pins her against the floor-to-ceiling window. “The agreement is void. You want to run? Too late.”
“There's no other woman I love. That's all a rumor. You're the only one I've ever loved.”
This book is really underrated. It is very well written and I have a lot of feelings about it from the plot I have read so far.
