Liu Guiyan found a fun period-style cultivation game. The game was designed to help the protagonist, Cheng Xuejin, rise from hostage to regent.
From the start, Liu Guiyan was captivated by Cheng Xuejin's looks and cried, "Honey!" And so:
Her husband was dying? She'd earn Sunshine Points by solving problems and buy him medicine.
Her husband's clothes were torn? She'd earn Sunshine Points by solving problems and get him new ones.
Her husband was being bullied? She'd beat the crap out of them!
Then one day, she unlocked the chat window and discovered that her paper-doll husband was so good at flirting!
Some time later, she unlocked a seven-day tour of the game's world. After a dizzying whirl, she landed in someone's arms. She took a closer look and asked in disbelief, "Honey?"
Cheng Xuejin had thought he would spend his life alone in this strange, cold imperial palace, all the way until his death.
Then one day, he saw the bow on his chest, and a spark of light kindled in his eyes. Over the following days, the people who had always humiliated and tormented him stopped coming, and the cold leftovers in his food box were gone.
He thought she was a ghost haunting the palace, so he wrote on a piece of paper, "Who are you?"
Only much later did a reply appear: "I'm your wife. You can call me Sister Yan!"
Cheng Xuejin's eyes grew red. So someone really had been silently keeping him company all along. Somehow, the cold imperial palace didn't feel quite so lonely anymore...
Much later, Cheng Xuejin had returned to the Kingdom of Western Shu and was bathing when a woman suddenly fell from the sky into his arms. He instinctively tried to push her away, but then he heard her disbelieving voice: "Honey?"
Cheng Xuejin froze...
Why is it the end if there are no more updates?
The subject matter is very novel, big stars and regents!! I love reading Haha. What attracts me more is the setting of the male and female protagonists. The female protagonist is completely my favorite character. She is a generous and informal person, but at the same time has a delicate and gentle side. The male protagonist is also sinister but gentle. In short, it is a very interesting novel.
