Luring Her Deeper: The Flirtatious CEO Woos Her Openly and Coaxes Her in Secret

Everyone in their circle says Song Zhi is Pei Jinnian's most devoted dog.

Just how devoted is she?

Whenever Pei Jinnian rents a room, she's the one who runs over to bring him condoms.

Everyone else calls her shameless, but Song Zhi doesn't care.

Until one night, she suddenly realizes that the man she's watched over for three years is, after all, not like the one she loved.

Without a word, she turns and walks away.

Everyone around them mocks her, saying she's playing hard to get. Even Pei Jinnian thinks so.

Until one day, he finds the photograph tucked inside Song Zhi's wallet.

The young man in the picture has eyes and brows that look somewhat like his own.

He goes mad, his eyes turning red.

On the night Pei Jinnian crashes his car, he begs her over the phone: "Zhi Zhi, I'm hurt. Won't you come see me?"

But a man's mocking laugh comes from the other end of the line: "Young Master Pei, are you wagging your tail for scraps because you want to be a dog?"

Fu Lu is notorious in their circle as a young tyrant: unruly and arrogant, he doesn't care about anyone.

At eighteen, he is sent to live with his grandmother and curb his wild ways. There he meets Song Zhi, three years younger than him, who follows him around like a little shadow.

From then on, the unruly boy turns into the gentle, considerate boy next door, helping the little girl with her homework every day.

His childhood friend teases him for raising her to be his future wife.

Fu Lu glances at the well-behaved girl sitting beside him as she works on her problems, then suddenly says, "You don't know what you're talking about."

In his sophomore year of college, the girl looks up at him with a pitiful expression and confesses: "Fu Lu, will you wait for me? I'll grow up soon."

Her feelings are pure and passionate, throwing him into turmoil.

Years later, when they meet again, he still falls for her.
