Famine Years: I Help a Beautiful Female General Build Infrastructure

A porcelain jar gains a spirit and connects the past with the present.

Wang Yan relies on the porcelain jar to meet a beautiful general from ancient times.

Her name is Tan Junyan, a legendary figure of the Wei Kingdom. She guards a frontier stronghold and is surrounded by an army of four hundred thousand barbarians, trapped in Pengshui City.

After years of locust plagues and severe drought, there is no water or food in the city. Just as the soldiers and civilians are at their wits' end, their great savior Wang Yan uses the porcelain jar to send them water and provisions.

He keeps stockpiling supplies and feeding the people of the past. They enjoy meat at every meal, three times a day, and Tan Junyan's defending army grows stronger and stronger.

He sends medicine, weapons, and telescopes, offers training advice and strategies, and astonishes the people of the past time and again.

Tan Junyan regards him as a god, but Wang Yan lies and says, "Where I come from, we respectfully call the gods 'husband.'"

To thank her husband, Tan Junyan offers him a great deal of gold, silver, jewels, antiques, and porcelain, every piece priceless.

With the gold, silver, and antiques, Wang Yan acquires vast wealth and makes the acquaintance of a godfather-level tycoon.

With the tycoon's help, he rises from the humiliating position of being on the verge of being kicked out of his family's business empire to become the key figure in control of the group.

Tan Junyan continually supplies him with all kinds of ancient mineral resources, in an endless stream, helping him rise step by step until he becomes the world's richest man.

One day, Tan Junyan discovers that the porcelain jar can transport people as well as objects.

Only after she comes through does she find out Wang Yan has deceived her.

The word "husband" is not an honorific for a god. It means consort!
