The metaphysical master Jiang Mian borrows a corpse to return to life so she can complete her mission, becoming an internet-wide punching bag of a minor actress in the entertainment industry and the real heiress whom the Gu family has just found.
When the fake heiress sets her up with an actor, Jiang Mian turns around and exposes him as a murderer. The whole internet tears into him.
The fake heiress is furious and does everything she can to squeeze Jiang Mian out of the industry. Jiang Mian simply starts a livestream and tells fortunes.
A netizen with a darkened forehead calls in. "Streamer, why does a middle-aged woman kiss me in my dreams?"
Jiang Mian: "You've been bound in a ghost marriage."
A pale, blue-faced netizen asks in confusion, "Streamer, why won't my boyfriend let me leave the house?"
Jiang Mian: "Because you're already dead."
One eerie and mysterious incident after another unfolds, and Jiang Mian becomes an internet sensation. The fake heiress is consumed by jealousy and schemes to make everyone in the Gu family turn away from Jiang Mian so she can have the family to herself. What she doesn't know is that, apart from Mr. and Mrs. Gu, no one in the family is human.
Grandma is a vengeful ghost reincarnated, and Grandpa is a thousand-year-old zombie.
Her older brother is a sinister demon, and her younger brother is a ruthless devil.
Jiang Mian smiles and thanks the fake heiress. "I owe you one for helping me find them. Now I can complete my mission."
