I Just Want to Be a Carefree Prince

To pay off my debts, I only sold two poems at a brothel, and somehow became the leader of the poetry world;

To make money, I only invented a few farming tools, and people insisted I cared deeply for countless farmers;

To enjoy life, I only made a little money doing business, and people insisted I controlled the nation's economic lifeline;

I simply hadn't gotten around to moving out of my mansion, and people insisted I was thrifty, virtuous, and noble;

I bought a mansion and took a beautiful concubine, yet people said I knew how to keep a low profile and tarnish my own reputation, and that I had what it takes to be Crown Prince.

Why is it so hard to live quietly as an idle prince, tending flowers and walking my birds?
