I'm No Mere Fish in a Pond

A golden-scaled carp is no ordinary pond fish. Once it meets wind and clouds, it transforms into a dragon.

When I was in middle school, my stepmother brought her beautiful daughter home. She was the school beauty who made my heart race.

But she bullied and humiliated me, making me live like a dog.

I refused to bow to fate and sink into despair. I fought my way through the mire and finally turned my life around, leaping from fish to dragon.

Now I possess unmatched wealth and am surrounded by beautiful women.

I cherish those who cherish me, and cast aside those who wrong me.

Standing at the summit, I watch her walk away, and feel a strange ache in my heart.
