During graduation season, several murders occurred at two universities in Tianning City. Led by Captain Liu Rui, the criminal investigation team solved the cases one after another and brought the killers to justice. Robbery and murder, revenge killings, crimes of passion, suicide... On the surface, the cases seemed clear-cut and unrelated, and the methods used were entirely different. But an inconspicuous mark, an unseen pair of hands, a young police officer who was stubborn and suspicious, and an experienced captain began to sense something unusual after the cases were solved one by one. A painful past, broken families, young people whose intertwined fates were impossible to untangle, a mad scientist, obsessive purity, the struggle within human nature, the conflict between good and evil. And some people came from hell.
