There is the Great Zhou Dynasty in the middle, and there are the three kingdoms of Mobei, South Vietnam, and Northern Qi around it. Twenty years ago, King Huai Lin Changluo conquered Mobei. Although he destroyed Mobei and lost three sons, Harmudu, the founding king of Mobei, was escorted to Beijing Lingchi, but he died with a smile of a successful conspiracy. After Harmudu died, he lost all his sons. Lin Changluo welcomed his youngest son Lin Huaijing. Since then, the fortunes of the Great Zhou Dynasty have been booming, but Lin Changluo was feared by the imperial court because of his too much power. He planned to bring Lin Huaijing to the capital to get married with the intention of holding him hostage, but it triggered a series of chain reactions that could destroy the country.
The plot is exciting and fascinating. It's a good book that you can spend time reading.
