Let You Enter the Palace as an Assassin: You Actually Stole the Empress' Heart

Things started to get messy in the middle after the empress got sick. A bunch of people suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and the ending was also hasty. It ended in one sentence and had nothing to do with the beginning.

The male protagonist is backed by the empress, the eunuch in charge of both dynasties, and the queen mother! Do you need Wei Xuanyi's consent to have a meal? The plot is confusing, just write whatever comes to mind! It feels like the same old routine of pretending to be a pig and eating a tiger has been changed into a new shell. The soup is changed but the medicine is not changed. The male protagonist is humble wherever he goes and will be ridiculed wherever he goes! She is still the empress' loyal dog licker. The key point is that the empress doesn't like the male protagonist, so she hangs him and makes him a dog!

Didn't he assassinate Wei Wuxian? Why did he become Wei Xuanyi? The introduction is different from the actual description.
