Surgeon Yao Yumeng was influenced by his family to become a doctor to aid Africa. He unexpectedly discovered that his former instructor Zhao Yinlei was also performing peacekeeping missions in Africa. With the help of Nalman, a local doctor who studied in China, she overcame various difficulties and quickly adapted to work and life in Africa.
Unexpectedly, an Ebola epidemic broke out in the local area not long after, and Dr. Nalman unfortunately died of the infection. Yao Yumeng was depressed and regained his faith with the help of Zhao Yinlei.
Anti-government armed forces took advantage of a terrorist attack to launch a rebellion. By chance, Yao Yumeng and Zhao Yinlei cooperated tacitly, completed the task of picking up agricultural experts, and boarded the evacuation warship.
After experiencing all this, Yao Yumeng also lost his innocence and idealism, and grew into a resolute doctor with superb medical skills with his ideals and beliefs reshaped in the flames of war.
Very inspirational, full of positive energy, worth watching.
