I'm the Wicked Stepmother, and I Make Short Work of Those Brats

Mainly because the ending was a bit sad. See the unhappy ending Why can't it be beautiful if it can be written clearly?

It's very good. The rating could be improved. Although the heroine left in the end and were no longer together, it was not bad.

This is the first book I've read that doesn't have a happy ending between the male and female protagonists. It's also very good. The female protagonist is too sober and principled. What the male protagonist does at the beginning is really unforgivable. It's really not easy to change people's thoughts in feudal socialism. Even in modern society, there are such people. It's very sad that for some so-called responsibilities, you hurt your dearest people.

It's surprising that the ending is like this. But I still like it and recommend it.

The plot is fluent, and the writing is brilliant despite the dullness.

The overall concept is quite novel, but it still contains intrigue. Almost all the characters in it are very distorted. Relatives are not close, husband and wife are not close, they rely on human blood to survive and detoxify, the sister-in-law misses her brother-in-law, the mother has a daughter with someone else just to detoxify her daughter, the male protagonist uses the blood of his son to prolong the life of the young master... The female protagonist is a time traveler, independent, decisive, and strong. She completes the system task and leaves. Skip to read.

If the ending is not ideal, the male protagonist should go to modern times to find the female protagonist after his death.

This male protagonist is really indescribable. It makes me shudder at the sight.
