Filming the movie Red Cliff, Lin Yu slaps Zhuang Xiuyan in the face, stuns Wang Qiufeng with his script, and secures access to horses. Meanwhile, Zhuang Xiuyan starts filming her movie Eighteen Years Old. In the end, the two films open at the same time, and Zhuang Xiuyan is thoroughly crushed.
Unwilling to accept defeat, Zhuang Xiuyan spends a fortune making the movie Love Across Time. At the same time, Lin Yu finishes filming his first production. The System rewards him with the script for Romance of the Three Kingdoms and the abilities he needs, so Lin Yu begins filming Romance of the Three Kingdoms as well.
Zhuang Xiuyan makes bold claims, announcing to the public that Lin Yu's first movie succeeded only by chance, thanks to the connections and resources he still had in the entertainment industry. This time, she says, he might not even be able to come up with a decent script.
Lin Yu continues filming his second production, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, inviting Chen Jianbin, Yu Hewei, and others to play its characters. He also uses the invitation letters rewarded by the System to invite historical figures such as Zhuge Liang, Zhang Fei, and Guan Yu.
During filming, the abilities rewarded by the System leave everyone stunned in one way after another. Once the production is complete, the faithful portrayals of the characters amaze netizens all over again. The movie wins at the box office, defeating Love Across Time. Zhuang Xiuyan is left dumbfounded, while Longteng Media, the company in which she owns shares, suffers huge losses.
