We also conducted research on the life span of cats and compared it with the life span of humans to plan the ages of various characters in the novel. Later, some readers said that they were not interested in reading anymore and did not have a strong sense of immersion. I realized that what I wrote was a novel, not a popular science article. There was no need to research things that readers were not interested in. Therefore, this version serialized on Zongheng. Com has weakened the description of cats' personalities, but the overall framework is still based on the cat world, and the focus is on storytelling. Completely "humanize" the cat. For example, in the original version, the description "He is a cat of..." Was changed to "He is a man of...", And there are many other changes.

This book seems to be about cats, but it is actually about people. There are too many restrictions when writing about people, such as dynasty setting, official etiquette, and speaking terms. If you use the wrong words, it will cause discomfort to the reader. When writing about cats, I can be free and creative and focus on my thoughts, without paying special attention to the historical background. This is one of the reasons why I conceived the idea of ​​"Cat World" with cats as the protagonists.
