A mysterious text message caused Chen Ge, a young man with superpowers but still living an ordinary life, to get on a plane and fly to a mysterious island country called Selenesia in the Pacific Ocean. There are not only strange natural scenery and unique culture there, but also a kind of extremely strange existence that is hidden in the shadow corners of the city and wilderness - cryptozoology.
Possessing supernatural abilities, unique ways of survival, and some even possess intelligence that is not inferior to humans. The structure of their bodies allows them to disguise themselves as seemingly ordinary objects in nature: animals, plants, man-made objects, and even people.
Chen Ge will walk side by side with his colleagues and even other cryptozoological creatures, walking on the borders of cities and unknown wilderness to deal with various dangers. And beneath the surface of this strange and supernatural combination, the coexistence of leisure and uneasiness, a larger conspiracy involving the entire country and even the entire world has gradually surfaced.
