Clever, lively, drama-loving maidservant VS possessive, proud, disabled young master
When she first meets Second Master Qin, he falls from his wheelchair into the mud while trying to reach a flower branch. Qiutan kindly helps him up, only to be scolded: "You've received your reward, so why aren't you gone yet?"
Oh, got it. He's a proud young master. Best not to cross him, so she might as well stay out of his way.
By a twist of fate, she becomes his maid. He grips her chin with long, pale fingers and looks down at her coldly. "You've certainly got a pretty face. No wonder you tried to seduce your master."
Oh, that's fine. He's suspicious by nature, and he's disabled. She should be understanding.
In the end, he strokes her smooth, jade-like calf, the corner of his mouth lifting. "You have beautiful legs."
"You're... you're sick!" She packs her things and runs away that very night.
In more than 90 chapters, I sympathized with the thief and stole the heroine's things, but the heroine also gave her money.
Although there are many unreasonable places, and I feel that some places are too wordy, but overall it is good-looking, and the extras are even better.
The story is exciting and simple, the male and female protagonists have their own personalities, and the characters are well developed. The hearts of the male and female protagonists are well described in detail and expressed well. They do not give up their careers because of love. There are twists and turns but they still firmly choose each other. I am very envious of such seemingly plain yet turbulent emotions.
Why was it the story of Chun Niang at the end that made me burst into tears?
The author's writing style is good, and he also understands ancient customs. At first glance, he is no stranger to writing. Although I haven't read much of this genre, I think this book may be the ceiling of the maid genre (after all, there are not many plots that can be developed due to the restrictions of the status of the prince and the slave). In addition to the inherently different status of the male and female protagonists in this book, the male protagonist has been disabled since he was a child and was angered by his father, forming a cold and inferior character. The female protagonist has a modern identity and is obsessed with freedom and equality. Many dramatic conflicts are intertwined. The storyline is bound to be exciting, and sadomasochism is inevitable. While reading, I feel no shame for the heroine's early betrayal and deception, but if I think carefully about someone whose life is in the hands of others, who are we to ask her to act righteously and sacrifice herself regardless of her own safety? It is not easy for the heroine to still have her bottom line and humanity. I also wondered why the heroine didn't meet the hero earlier and wanted to compete for the position of royal merchant. But when I thought about it again, the biggest focus of conflict in the book was the heroine's low status. This is also the heroine's heart. The heroine wants to change through her own efforts and hopes to stand side by side with the hero. This is the pursuit of modern women! Therefore, the author is clever, and the plot, characters, and emotional development are sad but reasonable. If I have to be critical, it would be that there are too few sweet parts, the ending is too sudden, and not affectionate enough.
It could have been a good story. The heroine is too weird, and the virgin is stupid.
The heroine is a holy mother and has a self-image
The heroine is so selfish. She and the hero's daughter don't let the hero know.
A very good book, I found it here because of another book with a hasty ending. I like the author's delicate description, the author's writing style and style. There are almost no major flaws. The only flaw is that a teenage girl with no background can become the richest man in Suzhou in 6 years. This is ridiculous...
I hate this Zhou family so much, she actually hid Xiao Man for her son's benefit.
