It's the Dragon Boat Festival, Thirteen is here to wish everyone a happy holiday, everything goes well, good fortune and good health! I remember when I was a child, on the Dragon Boat Festival, before the sun came out, my mother would wake me up and go out for a hundred steps, saying that it could cure all diseases. On this day, a gourd made of mugwort and red paper will be hung on the door. It is said to be the God of Plague, whose real name is Lei. If you see the gourd, please come back. While I was sleeping, grandma would tie colorful threads on my wrists, ankles, and neck. When I got up, there would be a colorful little figure hand-sewn by grandma hanging around my neck. There was a little man on it, as well as a bag of grains, a small broom made of hemp, a peach wood mallet, and a big dumpling in bits and pieces. According to the custom in the village, the colorful little figures brought by boys are called big fat girls, and those brought by girls are called big fat boys. With my grandma's skillful hands, my big fat girl is the most beautiful every year. We eat rice dumplings and eggs during the Dragon Boat Festival. Every year, my mother will cook a pot of eggs, duck eggs, and goose eggs for breakfast. I will take them to school and share the eggs with my classmates. When it rained for the first time after the Dragon Boat Festival, I had to cut off the colorful threads on my body and throw them into the rain. Everyone said that the colorful threads would turn into snakes and crawl away. When I was a child, in order to prove it, I would squat outside and stare at the colorful threads in the water for several hours. In the blink of an eye, I was no longer confused, my mother was getting old, and my grandma had been dead for many years, and I suddenly had a dream. By the way, the recommendation votes you have are expired if you keep them, vote for me! Let Thirteen be happy on the Dragon Boat Festival!
