She admits she was never a good person, much less someone who would do so-called good deeds anonymously for no reason. The one time she did something kind was when she happened to rescue a pitiful, filthy “kitten.” But that very kitten accidentally led her into some strange world of demons. Worse still, she ran into a thousand-year-old fox spirit. No, to be precise, she ran into a whole den of them. Just like that, she became the prize in a contest among the demons.
The cunning and seductive silver fox Mo Xie, the bewitching red fox Mo Yao, the talkative blue fox Mo Yan, the lecherous ink-black fox Mo Se, the strange and mysterious brown fox Mo Sha, and the orange fox Mo Xi, who looks like a little boy, all arrive on the scene. Add in the intensely jealous consorts in the Fox King’s harem, who keep provoking her, and Mo Xiao Ran’s life becomes all the more colorful.
But who could have guessed that the Fox King would want in on the action too? He actually says that good things should stay within the family, and that whoever wins Mo Xiao Ran will inherit his throne. This sets all the princes of the fox clan abuzz, and they keep looking for chances to pounce on Mo Xiao Ran, a human woman.
So how will this woman, surrounded by fox spirits, get herself out of danger? Let’s wait and see~
