Enlightenment of the Three Kingdoms

After "The World of Martial Arts", Chen Yong once again traveled to Liu Yong, a clan member of the Han Dynasty in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. He was rescued by Taoist Zuo Ci, and he was able to resurrect his body because of the Night Pearl Necklace. Later, he relied on Taoist Zuo Ci's invisibility to escape Lu Bu's pursuit! Taoist Zuo Ci wanted to teach Taoism to Chen Yong, but he was unwilling to practice Taoism because of his blood feud and his lifelong love affair with Ren Hongchang. Taoist Zuo Ci also figured out his extraordinary life experience and agreed to help him. Chen Yong and Liu Xing first rescued Gongsun Zan who was besieged by Zhang Chun, Qiu Liju and others in Guanzicheng in western Liaoning, hoping to attack Wuhuan from the north here to train elite troops. When Chen Yong, who was on the battlefield, found out that he had been deceived by the ambitious Gongsun Zan, he angrily quit, but they were still alone. Entrusted by Youzhou Shepherd Liu Yu, Chen Yong rushed to Chang'an to rescue Han Xian Emperor Liu Xie who was kidnapped by Dong Zhuo. Situ Wang Yunzheng used his adopted daughter Diao Chan as a beauty trap to drive a wedge between Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu. When Chen Yong arrived in Chang'an, he discovered that Diao Chan was his fiancée Ren Hongchang! The frustrated Chen Yong had to endure the humiliation and bear the burden for the sake of the Han Dynasty, and finally worked with Lu Bu to eradicate the national traitor Dong Zhuo. Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty was about to reward Chen Yong when he learned that his Han clan ancestor had passed away... Ren Hongchang died, and Chen Yong, who had seen through the world of mortals, turned to Taoism. Will he continue to protect the country...
