The Powerful Minister's Noble Concubine

Unlike everyone else, who transmigrates into the body of a princess or a legitimate or illegitimate young lady, I somehow transmigrated into an ancient-style romance novel set in a fictional world. Not only am I not the heroine, I’m not even an important supporting character. I’m a cannon-fodder maid on the villain’s side who won’t even survive three episodes. How can I turn this terrible hand into a winning one? The safest bet is to cling to someone powerful! But what’s with that villainous minister, who loves to ramble and behaves so frivolously whenever he has a spare moment? Why has he latched onto me? It’s one thing for me to change my own fate, but do I have to save him too, when he was destined to die horribly in the original novel?
