The universe was once a void, a state of chaos, and thus in balance. After the Big Bang, light and heavy, yin and yang, split apart. Whenever yin and yang combine, all must return to chaos.
The Big Bang created many planets of matter, and many of antimatter as well. When matter and antimatter meet, they must return to chaos. This is the Great Chaos.
These planets, born of chaos, existed before heaven and earth were formed, when the clear and turbid remained undivided. This is the Lesser Chaos. Some pockets of chaos gathered and gave rise to spirits, who became gods. They then opened heaven and earth, dividing chaos once more and shaping the world.
Yet the way of heaven cycles onward, and chaos will arise again. All fate, without exception, will return to the void.
