The Fatekeeper's Hall

The Celestial Realm’s Fatekeeper has gone missing. He has opened a fortune-telling shop in the mortal world, answering questions and revealing destinies about love, trust, promises… “I don’t believe in fate. I’ve been waiting for him all along.” “There was only one letter. This is all fate’s doing.” “They all say a woman’s face determines the course of her whole life!” “Sister, give me your face. I’ll take good care of it. Sister, I’ll become you!” “He gave that boy a dream. I’ll grant him a wish in return.” “I’ll make it happen, whether he dies or I do…” She had heard enough stories. All she wanted was to find a way, an ending. A strange Taoist, inexplicable powers, and one shroud of mystery after another came her way. What was the truth? Who was good, and who was evil? She was a demon, her hands stained with blood. He was the Fatekeeper, a god from the heavens. They met in a desolate mountain range, endured the tribulation of the ninefold thunder, and he took her life with his own hands… A thousand years ago, the Heavenly Emperor vanished. The Celestial Realm fell into chaos, and the gods crumbled. Strange unions between humans and demons, and demons and gods, plunged the Three Realms into disorder. The traitor finally emerged, and she watched him perish, body and soul. A thousand years later, the Taoist returned. His aura was familiar. The traitor emerged once more, and chaos began anew. Could she still return to where it all began?
