Reborn in the Age of Tycoons

(A steady 6,000 words a day) In late 2007, seven years into the new millennium, China's internet was entering a golden age that would last more than a decade. Ma in Shenzhen was clutching his hard-won victory and gobbling up half the instant messaging market.

Ma in Hangzhou was busy with e-commerce and logistics. Brother Liu watched as his logistics operation kept moving at full speed, secretly laying tracks in the open. The pig that would soon take flight was still silent in its mother's belly, while the yellow kangaroo and the blue knight were still working up to their big entrances.

Foreign capital was tireless in its search for opportunities, while the first faint signs of the 2008 Olympics were already beginning to appear.

At the very tip of the tail end of this golden age's massive wave of opportunity, Lin Xi returned with memories of his past life to the year he turned seventeen, just before the turning point of the college entrance exams. Looking at the dazzling lights outside and hearing the endless cries of “Dragon-Slaying Saber!” and “Hack him!” from the internet cafe next door,

Lin Xi's eyes welled with tears. He vowed to seize the last opportunity of this golden age and become a top business tycoon!
